1. Who we are
OLINDIAS SUARL (“Olindias,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is the data controller for personal information processed through olindias.com and any product that expressly states it is covered by this Policy. Not every product Olindias builds or operates is covered here — some may have their own separate Privacy Policy, in which case that governs instead. Our registered office is Place du Savoir, Monastir 5000, Tunisia.

In this Policy, “personal information” means any information that identifies or could reasonably be used to identify you.
2. Scope
This Policy covers personal information collected through the Site, our contact form, and any Service that references this Policy. “Service” has the same meaning given to it in our Terms and Conditions.
3. What we collect
- Contact details — name, email address, and message content, collected through our contact form.
- Usage/analytics data — pages visited, device/browser info, approximate location, and referrer, collected automatically via Google Tag Manager.
- Account data — login credentials, subscription plan, and billing contact, collected on account registration on a Service.
- Payment data — billing contact and transaction status; full card/payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach Olindias directly.
- Job applicant data — name, email, and any details included in your application, collected via our Career page.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data (health, biometric, political opinions, etc.) through the Site.
4. How we use personal information
- Responding to enquiries submitted via the contact form — legal basis: legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps at your request.
- Providing and maintaining a Service you've subscribed to — legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Billing and fraud prevention — legal basis: contract / legal obligation.
- Site analytics and improvement — see Section 5 (Cookies and tracking).
- Legal compliance, responding to lawful requests — legal basis: legal obligation.
- Marketing communications — legal basis: consent, with opt-out available in every message.
We do not sell personal information. If Olindias is ever acquired or merges with another company, personal information may transfer to the successor entity as part of that transaction, subject to it continuing to honor commitments made in this Policy.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use Google Tag Manager, which may load analytics and other tracking tags.
We do not currently ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies through Google Tag Manager. You can control or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.
6. AI and automated processing
Services under this Policy use AI to generate search results, recommendations, or similar output, but do not make automated decisions about a person that have legal or similarly significant effects.
7. How we share information
We share personal information with:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, limited to what's needed to perform their function (e.g., email delivery, hosting/database, analytics, payment processing, and — for Services that use one — a third-party AI model provider to generate output).
- Legal authorities, where required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect the safety of any person.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, as described in Section 4.
We do not permit service providers to use your personal information for their own independent purposes.
8. International data transfers
Olindias is based in Tunisia. Where personal information is transferred to service providers located outside your country (for example, US-based analytics or hosting providers), we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent contractual protections, to protect that information in accordance with applicable law.
9. Data retention
We will not retain personal information longer than necessary for the purposes it was collected, or as required by law.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- request a portable copy of your data;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@olindias.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (commonly one month under GDPR, extendable in limited cases).
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and any applicable regulator without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law.
12. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at hello@olindias.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
